Study trip to the Istanbul Water Treatment Plant

The teachers and students of our Comenius Fresh Water project visited the Water Treatment Plant in Istanbul on March 30, 2009

The Ömerli Drinking Water Treatment Plant enable people of Istanbul to drink top quality drinking water.
The annual water output of Ömerli Dam completed in 1972 is 220 million m3.  1.000 000 m3 water is supplied to the city per day by Ömerli Plants.  There are 4 treatment plants in Ömerli.. You can see more on the website: http://www.iski.gov.tr
